As the damage is being assessed in NC and Virginia, demand for supplies still grows.

Cape May resident Christopher Chin leads the relief effort underway here in South Jersey. He's collecting items for the victims of Hurricane Florence to take down south later this week. Joe and I were there at United Uniforms this weekend to help out. It was a beautiful day. Thank you to everyone that came out and donated. We collected so much!

Still, so much is needed. Via his Facebook page 'Cape May for Florence', Chris has shared what items are in particular demand. Included are non-perishable food items, diapers, formula, pet food and supplies, and clothes. PLEASE NOTE: If donating clothes, they must be new due to FEMA regulations regarding potential insect and bed bug threats.

Chris Chin also has organized a GoFundMe page. If you can't make it to one of the four drop off locations, donate to get the truck from New Jersey to the Carolina's. The proceeds will go to fuel and tolls on the route.
