Police in Absecon responded to concerned neighbor complaints and arrested an Egg Harbor Township man for manufacturing and selling drugs across from Holy Spirit High School in Absecon.

Police say they carried out a search warrant on Friday at an apartment in the Clayton Mill Run Apartment Complex. They recovered "approximately 3 kilograms (106 ounces) of suspected heroin, 3 ounces of suspected cocaine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia associated with the manufacturing, packaging and distribution of controlled dangerous substances."

Arrested was Ismael Martinez,33, of EHT. According to police he was arrested and charged with "operating a CDS production facility, manufacturing, distributing and dispensing CDS, possession of CDS and other drug paraphernalia charges. Martinez was additionally charged with the offenses while being in a school zone due to the proximity to Holy Spirit High School."
