An impaired driver crackdown will be conducted by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department this weekend.

This Saturday, October 27th, between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department will be conducting an impaired driver checkpoint on the westbound side of the Black Horse Pike near the Shore Mall. The goal of this checkpoint is to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking along with high visibility enforcement. The EHT PD will have zero tolerance for motorists who decide to drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Impaired drivers kill nearly 18,000 people on our nation’s road each year and in New Jersey, 39% of the motor vehicle fatalities are alcohol-related.
