The effort to get dangerous drugs off the streets continues in Egg Harbor Township, where police have made a couple arrests in the last week and a half.

According to EHT Police, On December 8th,

Egg Harbor Township Police Officer William Burns conducted a motor vehicle stop for motor vehicle violations on The Black Horse Pike in the area of Bayport Townhomes, in the West Atlantic City section of the township. A subsequent investigation at the scene led to the recovery of approximately 24 grams of cocaine, 26 wax folds of heroin and 10 oxycodone tablets in the possession of the driver, Clifton Holley, 33 years of age from Atlantic City, who was taken into custody. At the station Holley threatened and attempted to spit on the officers.
Holley was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of the prescription medication, threats and attempting to throw bodily fluids on a law enforcement officer. Bail was set by Municipal Court Judge H.R. Switzer at $100,000 and Holley was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Also according to Egg Harbor Township Police, on December 13th,

The Egg Harbor Township Police Department with the Assistance from the Atlantic County SWAT Team executed a Search Warrant at a residence on Sandpiper Drive, located in the Pleasant Woods Section of Egg Harbor Township.

As a result of the executed search warrant, 178 packets of suspected heroin were seized. Also seized as part of the Investigation and Executed Search Warrant was numerous empty wax folds used to package heroin and $307 in cash
.
Arrested as part of the Investigation and Executed Search Warrant was Daniel T. Parrish (41 years old), from Egg Harbor Township. He was arrested and charged with both Possession as well as Distribution of Heroin.

Daniel T. Parrish was subsequently lodged at the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $20,000.00 Bail.
