Family Robbed of Money and a Bible on Bridgeton Sidewalk
How bad is the Karma for stealing a little girl's Bible?
Bridgeton Police say officers were flagged down about a robbery just after 10:30 Monday night. Here's what police are reporting:
The victim advised police that he was walking with his wife and three children, when they were approached by three males in the 100 block of Bank St. One of the males demanded money while holding his hand in his pocket making the victim feel as though he had weapon. The victim handed the suspect his wallet which contained $30 to $40 in cash and a bank card. The suspect then grabbed his daughter’s yellow book bag which contained a Bible and his wife’s pocketbook which contained two passports. The victim described all three suspects as being black males in their 20’s. One of the suspects was wearing a black mask that covered his face with a black sweatshirt and black pants. A second suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt with black pants. A clothing description of the third suspect was unknown by the victims.
