Fire and Stuck Man on Lift Keep Wildwood Firefighters Busy

It's been a busy couple of days for firefighters in and around Wildwood. Crews fought a fire at a local home, and also helped a man stuck on a lift at Morey's Piers.

Tuesday, it was a fire at a home on West Buttercup Road in Wildwood Crest that brought out fire crews from several departments. According to Wildwood Crest Police, one resident suffered from smoke inhalation, but there were no other injuries.

Wednesday, North Wildwood firefighters were called to Morey's Surfside Pier for a man stuck on a stalled lift. Crews were able to bring the man down to safety.
