To be honest, I'm scratching my head on this one.

I know sometimes a person who is building a home is doing something that follows their dreams. They have hopes and plans and blueprints.

This dream, however, seemed to have just...stopped.

This property, labeled "UNIQUE" certainly is different. To me, it looks like a huge garage with a lot of doors and windows that someone thought could be turned into a really cool-looking living space.

Again, though, it seems that the project just...stopped.

Honestly, I don't know if it was originally supposed to be a garage or it was originally supposed to be a really cool house that looks like a garage.

More head scratching.

The property listing has this to say:

"Huge 11, 600 square foot building built in 1983. Upstairs is potential large living quarters with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs is ideal for contractors, landscapers, car collectors, and any kind of collector, the space is huge with concrete floors and multiple ten-foot overhead doors. The seller will provide a fire cert and water test only. The property is being sold as-is including any septic inspection. There are some minor renovations that were not completed partition walls, utility room, and bathroom. No permits were issued, it's up to the buyer to complete and have Township inspections and permits and certificate of occupancy."

I guess the keyword here is potential. It can be something unique, but will it ever be finished. If you buy it do you complete someone else's dream, or do you bulldoze and start over?

No offense intended to the original and or current owners, but this is weird, right?

Check out the photos. It does look like something was happening and going forward at some time. The question is, what now?

According to the listing the property has been on the market for over a year. The property is listed by Michelle Jackson with Platinum Real Estate The asking price is $398,500.
