Galloway Police Make Arrest in Pedestrian Hit and Run

Galloway Township Police have made an arrest after an investigation of a car-pedestrian hit and run accident back on March 26th.

Police say the accident took place on North Leipzig Avenue, when Hannah Wakeley, 26, of  Galloway, was struck while jogging on the side of the road. At the time the driver of the car fled the scene. Police say Wakely suffered serious injuries.

Police say an investigation led them to arrest Justin Sacchinelli, 30, of Galloway. He was charged with "leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision resulting in serious bodily injuries, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and numerous motor vehicle violations."
