Little Egg Harbor Police Officers Assist in Delivery
The "woman in labor" call came into the Little Egg Harbor Township Police station just after 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, Officers John Kelly, Tonya Anderson and Mike Bishop were dispatched to the residence on Red Oak Lane. Upon arrival they were notified that the 30-year-old woman had her water break, and the little one wasn't playing any games.
With the assistance of Quality Ambulance Service, Squad 85 and Monoc Medics, the mom gave birth, at home, to a beautiful baby girl!
Mom and daughter were taken to the hospital for treatment. At last check all, including the officers, were fine.
