Little Egg Harbor Woman Busted Handing Out Meth in Front Yard
Maybe if you're handing out illegal drugs and a drug task force is watching you, you shouldn't be making deals in your front yard.
Ocean County Prosecutor Brian Billhimer says a joint investigative task force was conducting a investigation into drug distribution in Ocean County. They identified a home in Little Egg Harbor being used to store and distribute methamphetamine. They say Allison Pintye, 36, of Little Egg Harbor was under investigation.
Billhimer says this is what happened Wednesday:
Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Strike Force, Little Egg Harbor Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Stafford Township Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, initiated surveillance on the subject residence in Little Egg Harbor Township. Detectives ultimately observed Pintye meet with a female, later identified as Kari Scull, 36, of Tuckerton, in front of the residence. Scull was subsequently detained and arrested without incident after leaving the residence, and found to be in possession of a quantity of Methamphetamine. Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Strike Force, Little Egg Harbor Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Stafford Township Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit subsequently executed a court-authorized search warrant at the subject residence. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 22 grams of Methamphetamine packaged for distribution purposes, along with a scale and additional packaging materials.
Allison Pintye now faces numerous drug-related charges.
Kari Scull faces a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
Both were Pintye and Scull were issued summonses and are due to appear in court.
Billhimer commended the following for their efforts: "The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Asset Forfeiture Unit, Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Stafford Township Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit."
