Little Girl From Absecon Marks 1 Year Fighting Brain Cancer Harder Than Ever
Meet Antonia Jackson--A little girl from Absecon who could really use a Daily Dose of Good.
Antonia is fighting Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) which is a highly aggressive and difficult to treat brain tumor found at the base of the brain. And as of today, this poor little girl and her mommy, Lisa, have been fighting this brain cancer HARD-- side by side-- for exactly 1 year!
Lisa has been doing everything in her power to help keep her baby girl alive and fighting. She has taken Antonia to CHOP, and has even considered treatments in Mexico to save her daughter.
She has created a Go-Fund-Me page to facilitate donations to help with medical costs, a Facebook page has been created to keep all of Antonia's supporters updated, and Lisa has even worked to get Antonia's story the NATIONAL attention that it deserves, in order to raise awareness to Brain Cancers in kids all over the world!
Recently, Antonia was featured in the USA Today newspaper, and the family is now a part of the Stockton College Soccer Team who is giving their utmost support to this little girl!
But Mama Lisa isn't stopping there! With a goal of 32K dollars for October, Lisa is planning a couple of events to help raise the funds needed for the procedures that Antonia needs:
There is a Beef and Beer Benefit to support the "Fight 4 Antonia" on October 14th, at JD's Pub&Grill in Galloway! Lisa is looking for donation baskets, gift certificates, any door prize items, bake sale goods, and really anything that can go towards this amazing event and cause to support Antonia and Brain Cancer in Children.
Please help Antonia, Lisa, and kids/families everywhere suffering from Brain Cancer by spreading the word!
