Little Seal Marks Stranding Center’s 5,000th Stranding
It was a little seal with a belly wound, an old shark bite scar, and an eye injury. She was stranded - and then saved by volunteers and staff of the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine.
The 33-pound seal was found by Keyport Police on a municipal boat ramp. She becomes the Center's 5,000th stranding.
