A Middle Township man is in a heap of trouble for sending his daughter to school with his marijuana in her backpack.

QUESTION: Why do you think your kid's backpack is a good hiding place for your stash?

Police in Middle Township say they were called to Middle Township Elementary #1 school at 9am Monday for found marijuana.

Apparently, Bobby J. Wilson, 30, of Burleigh, had called the school asking to come in and "to retrieve his wallet" from his daughter's backpack.

When Wilson arrived at the school, school personnel retrieved the backpack, but could find no wallet. Instead, they found a paper bag with 50 grams of marijuana.

According to police, "Bobby Wilson was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams, endangering the welfare of a child and an outstanding traffic warrant stemming from another jurisdiction.  Wilson was incarcerated in the Cape May County Correctional Center pending a bail hearing."
