Boozer was shot back in 2017. According to The Daily Journal, Brown took a plea deal in which he plead guilty to conspiring to murder Boozer who was found dead in April of that year.

Reports claim that Brown will be required to serve at least 85% of his sentence before he is even eligible for parole. He did, however, receive some credit for time served while awaiting trial.
