Never Before Seen Golden Nugget Construction Photos

Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino architect Paul Steelman has exclusively provided to us, dozens of photos from the earliest construction days.

These photos have never been seen or published before now. They are more than 41 years old. If it seems like we're opening a time capsule together, it’s because we are!

Please note the photo above. It contains a vintage Steve Wynn era sign, which reads: “We’re going to make Atlantic City Famous, Again!” And, he did. The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Atlantic City became the most prolific and profitable casino in the world during the 1980s.

It was truly magical and transformative in every way. It forever changed the lives of all of us who worked there. We learned about excellence in service and product. We learned how to win together as a team.
