New Galloway Exit on Parkway to Open Soon

If you're used to getting off the Garden State Parkway onto Jimmie Leeds Road using the Atlantic City Rest Area, your world will soon change.

Parkway officials have announce that the new Exit #41 will be opening on the morning of February 27th. At that time exiting through the rest area will cease to become possible.

According to Galloway Police, "If a commuter were to inadvertently get off on the rest area instead of the new Exit #41, the only option will be to get back on the parkway and go to the next legal exits for a u-turn, which in the case of north bound commuters would mean Exit #50 in Burlington County as there is no legal u-turn until that exit."

Look for signage referencing the new exit to go up on the parkway within the next couple of days.
