New Jersey Pets in Need
If you're an animal lover, then this This Daily Dose of Good will hit you close to home. Many abandoned and stray pets in NJ are taken in and given care by our Animal Control Officers! But what happens when one of our own officers are in need...
This Daily Dose of Good comes from Chelsea Lippincot of Atlantic County who works as an animal control officer for Shore Animal Control.
Chelsea says, "It's a rewarding profession even though it doesn't pay much. You don't do this job for the money you do it for the love of animals."
Unfortunately for Chelsea's own beloved dog, Monster, he was diagnosed with lymphoma about 2 months ago. Only being 4 years old and still of high energy, Chelsea decided to take Monster to the vet to under go multi-agent chemotherapy.
Monster has been through 5 treatments and is progressing well. However, the treatments are costly and it's very hard for Chelsea to care for so many other fur babies all day, especially when her very own is in so much need. So, friends and loved ones of Monster and Chelsea have set up a Go-Fund-Me to try and help pay for some of Monster's medical expenses.
For all of the animal lovers out there, we all know how important our pets are too us. So, if you're looking to do a little extra daily dose of good today, but aren't able to donate, YOU can help by sharing this page to help spread the word about Monster and the rest of the animals in our area who need some love! Maybe you're even looking for a fur baby of your own? Well, you can check out these NJ Pets in need, and maybe adopt or foster one to bring home!
If you know someone out there who is in need of a Daily Dose of Good like Chelsea and Monster, send us a message on our Facebook page and tell us your story!
