Over Three Days, Four Big NJ Lottery Jackpots Won, Including $1.9M Prize
Apparently, it's been a very good time to play the lottery in the Garden State. Four big jackpots were recently hit over a three-day period with one worth over $1.9 million.
The winning started with last Thursday's Jersey Cash 5 game when two people split a $1.9 million jackpot, making each person nearly $951,000 richer (before taxes, of course). The winning numbers on October 14th were 03, 07, 09, 19, and 24 and the XTRA number was 05. The winning tickets were sold at convenience stores in Morris and Union Counties, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
The next day, someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket at ShopRite on Route 34 in Monmouth County hit for $10,000 when they matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball. The winning numbers for October 15th's drawing were 03, 20, 31, 34, and 65; the Gold Mega Ball was 18 and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.
And then the winning didn't this past weekend -- for the Saturday drawings, a Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was bought at ShopRite on North County Line Road in Jackson, and a winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth over $153,000 was sold at Jackpocket in Passaic County.
If you weren't one of these lucky people, good luck if you continue to play!
