A student football player at Pleasantville High School has tested covid-19 positive, according to the Pleasantville School District.
The student had been on campus practicing with the football team for the past two weeks.

Pleasantville Schools Superintendent Dr. Natakie Chestnut-Lee sent a letter to school families explaining that any students who came in contact with the unidentified student had been notified and told they should self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to school property.
"The student participated in sports practice on campus during the past two weeks. The other students who came in contact with this student have been notified."
The Pleasantville School District voted Tuesday to begin the 2020-20201 school year all-remotely.
