Pleasantville Man Arrested for Possession of Drugs and Guns

A traffic stop by New Jersey State Police in Hamilton Township resulted in the arrest of a Pleasantville man on drug and weapons charges.

Police say the stop occurred Wednesday, November 25th at 10:30pm on County Road 552. Troopers quickly discovered that the passenger in the vehicle, Andre Muhammad, 20, of Pleasantville, was in possession of marijuana.

Further investigation found Muhammad to be in possession of "a .40 caliber handgun, a .45 caliber handgun, two high capacity magazines, heroin, and THC oil." He was arrested without incident.

Muhammad was taken to the Atlantic County Jail, pending a hearing in court. He faces a number of weapons and drug related charges.
