Pleasantville Resident Charged with Hit and Run in Sea Isle City
After an investigation that lasted over a month, police in Sea Isle City have charged a Pleasantville resident with several charges related to a hit and run accident.
The accident happened on September 1st, and left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
Police have now arrested Wendi Rodriguez-Cuevas, 43, of Pleasantville. Rodriguez-Cuevas faces charges which include Assault by Auto 4th Degree, Knowingly Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Serious Bodily Injury 3rd Degree, Endangering Another 3rd Degree, Endangering an Injured Victim 3rd Degree, Hindering Oneself by Destroying Evidence 3rd Degree, along with numerous Motor Vehicle Violations from the Hit and Run itself.
Rodriguez-Cuevas was released on summons pending a court appearance.
According to an earlier release by police, the accident occurred sometime between 245am and 330am on September 1st in the area of 78th and Landis Avenie.
