Police Looking To ID 2 Suspects From Exit 6 In North Wildwood, NJ
Police in North Wildwood need your help!
The North Wildwood Police Department has taken to social media to see if the public can help them with identifying a potential suspect or two. They haven't released too much information about why they need to speak with them, only that they all might be connected to an assault that allegedly happened at Exit 6, a bar in town, over the weekend.
Ever wonder why they don't reveal more when asking for the public's help? When police are investigating a case, they need to gather all the facts and evidence without interference. If they share too much information, it could tip off suspects, allowing them to destroy evidence or evade capture.

The suspects aren't the only ones on the police's mind, either. Some details might involve victims, witnesses, or sensitive information. Keeping this confidential protects everyone involved and maintains the integrity of the investigation.
There are legal guidelines about what can be disclosed during investigations. Sharing too much can affect the fairness of any future trial.
For now, the police have shared posts to both their Instagram and Facebook pages asking if any of their followers know the identities of the people pictured. Apparently, an incident went down in the bathroom of the Exit 6 bar during the early morning hours of Sunday, September 22nd. The bar wouldn't have been closed up yet after the frivolity of Irish Weekend's last day on Saturday, September 21st.
The first suspect is described as a "white female with long brown hair, wearing a blue jean jacket, green pants and across body style purse."
The second apparently had "...brown hair, wearing a green shirt and black skirt and has a tattoo on the rear, right bicep."
The 3rd suspect is neither described as male nor female. Cops did say that this person had "short brown hair, wearing a dark green shirt and has several tattoos on their left arm."
