An early Easter morning fire in Sea Isle City left two duplexes a total loss, according to the Sea Isle City Fire Department. No one from any of the four residences was hurt, but one firefighter sustained minor injuries.

The Sea Isle City Fire Department received a call about a structure fire in a duplex on the 200 block of 75th Street at 5:05 a.m. Sunday. Heavy smoke was billowing from the rear of a house, according to a Facebook post.

The Sea Isle City Fire Department arrived on scene at 5:22am and began fighting the fire. With the assistance of multiple Fire Departments, to include Strathmere, Oceanview, Seaville and Avalon, the fire was placed under control by 6:11am.

While battling the multiple structure fire, a Firefighter from the Sea Isle City Fire Department sustained minor injuries and was transported via Ambulance to Cape Regional Hospital. In total 4 residential units were a total loss.
