It's been a busy week for police in Wildwood Crest. They've made several drug arrests, including people from Wildwood Crest, Vineland, and Pennsylvania.

Here's the complete report, courtesy of Wildwood Crest Police:

  • 3/21/2019- Patrolman Shane Moyer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Park Boulevard. During the stop, Officer Moyer observed a clear plastic bag containing suspected marijuana. As a result of the investigation, Olivia Tirello (26) of Wildwood Crest NJ, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. She was later released on a summons.
  • 3/23/2019- Officer Cole Sawyer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Columbine Road and detected the odor of marijuana. During the course of the investigation, suspected marijuana was found inside the vehicle. Christopher Rymal (23) of Havertown PA was subsequently arrested for possession of marijuana and released on a summons.
  • 3/24/2019- Officer Dominic Travascio responded to a loud noise compliant on Wisteria Road and located a vehicle playing music very loudly. Further investigation revealed the occupant of the vehicle, a 17-year-old juvenile, was in possession of drug paraphernalia, specifically a vaporizer used to inhale suspected hash oil. The juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as issued a summons for driving under the influence and then was released to a guardian.
  • 3/24/2019- Sergeant James Mulholland conducted a motor vehicle stop on Preston Avenue and observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. During the motor vehicle stop Sergeant Mulholland located further suspected marijuana related evidence. Qori Brown (30) of Vineland NJ was subsequently arrested. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued two motor vehicle citations.
  • 3/24/2019- Officer Gianakopoulos conducted a motor vehicle stop on Bayview Drive, during which time Officer Gianakopoulos detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During his investigation, suspected marijuana and related paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Luis Ortiz Jr. (32) of Philadelphia PA was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Of course, those arrested are innocent until proven guilty.
