Let me say it one more time for the people in the back: DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE.

A man from Gloucester County has been charged with his daughter's death after he crashed his car while driving intoxicated. NJ.com reports that Blackwood resident Leroy Iglesia has been charged after his daughter passed away due to immediate injuries sustained from a vehicle accident in which Iglesia was driving drunk down Route 55.

The accident occurred in Mantua Township when Iglesia's car flew off the road and into two trees.

Apparently, it's unclear whether or not 1-year-old Elowen Iglesia was even restrained in a car seat. Her father has been charged with vehicular homicide among other things.

This should go without saying but it shouldn't even have to be questioned whether or not she was in a car seat. She was ONE. Why would you even put her in ANY vehicle without a car seat?

Iglesia has been detained pending a formal hearing.
