South Jersey Field of  Dreams is a fantastic organization and a place where physically and mentally disabled children can play and participate in baseball. This Friday, May 15th, more than 15,000 flags will be added to this special field.

Volunteers will place approximately 15,433 flags across the outfield. There will be a special meaning behind every flag. The flags will represent a New Jersey resident who died while serving in the country’s armed forces dating back to the American Revolution.

The Filed of Flags will be in place for Memorial Day, May 25th. There will be a brief ceromony at the field following the Absecon Memorial Day parade. The South Jersey Field Of Dreams is located at the Dr. Jonathan Pitney Park in Absecon.
