By now, you've probably heard the devastating news about the plane that crashed in Ethiopia this Sunday.

With more and more info being released as the investigation continues, more victims are being identified. 6ABC shares that one victim hails from South Jersey. Matt Vecere grew up in Sea Isle City, later moving to California to further his career.

His employer, IQAir, tweeted this about the situation:

6ABC reports that Vecere was one of the 157 victims on the second Boeing 737 Max 8 plane that went down in five months, so it's shocking to hear that the FAA hasn't taken the same steps as China, Indonesia, and others to ground all of these planes until the investigation is complete. It's important to note, however, that as of now it's unclear whether or not the two crashes are related in any way.
