
South Jersey’s Most Scenic Roads to Admire the Fall Foliage
Time to fill up your gas tank and hit the road. Oh, and don't forget the camera! As I'm sure you've noticed, we're now entering peak season for fall foliage in South Jersey.
Here's a look at some of the most scenic drives and road trips around the state to see the awesome colors of fall.
- Belmar Boardwalk
Belmar Boardwalk 1Ocean Drive - Ocean City to Wildwood
Take Ocean Drive through Strarthmere, Sea Isle City, Avalon and Stone Harbor.
Make sure you have time to visit Corson's Inlet State Park in Cape May County. See hundreds of wildlife species live. You can also hike and fish!

Start your road trip in New Gretna and enjoy the scenic fall drive until you come to RT. 30 and White Horse Pike.
If you love history and the New Jersey's Pinelands, make sure you spend some time at historic Batsto Village in Hammonton.

If you have time to take that perfect fall drive try Rt. 40 from Atlantic City to the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
You'll pass plenty of small towns, farms and roadside stands on your road trip.
NOTE: You can always take the AC Expressway for a shorter drive.

Marsh, Bird 4Great Bay Blvd. - Little Egg Harbor
This fall drive will take you into Southern Ocean County, just past the the Tuckerton Seaport. This trip is for you if you love wildlife. You'll pass plenty of marshes. Make sure you bring you binoculars for bird watching.
Don;t forget to leave some time to stop at the Tuckerton Seaport. Check out the Haunted Seaport just in time for Halloween on October 17th and 18th.

I've driven this stretch of the GSP on numerous occasions. You'll absolutely see the stunning colors of fall from New Gretna to Cape May.
Have lunch in Stone Harbor and be sure to leave some time to see one of the best zoo's in the entire country, Cape May Zoo.
