Hamilton Township, NJ Public Works Will Feed 20 Local Families This Thanksgiving
We've finally arrived! The week of Thanksgiving is finally here, which means it's appropriate to now officially welcome you to the holiday season.
Tis the season for giving, is it not?
South Jersey, specifically Hamilton Township residents, must extend kudos to the folks over at the Township Of Hamilton Public Works. They've already stepped up to do their part in ensuring a few local families a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday this year.
An alert went out to local residents letting them know that thanks to a local food drive hosted by the public works and First Vehicle Services, twenty families will be able to serve turkey on their Thanksgiving table for the 2021 holiday. The men and women from both teams pulled together and collected not only turkeys, but hams too, plus all the sides, of course, and donated their lot to the food pantry located in the First United Methodist Church on Main Street in Mays Landing.
That's just one more demonstration of South Jersey's huge heart at work. You have to give credit where credit's do, so great job to the First Vehicle Service and the Township of Hamilton Public Works for putting others first this holiday season. No doubt, the families are incredibly grateful for their hard work.
