Toby Keith is going to be at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel Friday evening and a bunch of state troopers will be, too.

Much like with the Luke Bryan show back in May, the New Jersey State Police has announced they will be conducting a DWI sobriety checkpoint of vehicles exiting the PNC Bank Arts Center Friday following the Toby Keith concert.

According to a press release, starting at 8PM, troopers will be stopping vehicles entering the southbound portion of the Garden State Parkway in Holmdel. The objective of the sobriety checkpoint is to reduce the number of crashes due to impaired driving. Troopers stopping cars will be looking for signs of impairment due to alcohol or drugs.

Back in May, troopers stopped almost 200 cars exiting the Luke Bryan concert and no one was arrested for DWI. The state police considered that checkpoint a success.

If you plan on drinking alcohol at this Friday's concert, make sure that you have a designated driver. Plan ahead and enjoy the concert safely!
