Two Arrested on Possession of Child Porn Charges in Cape May County
Two people from North Cape May are facing child pornography-related charges after they were arrested last week.
Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland says an investigation lead to the arrest of 48-year-old Kathryn Gaines and 51-year-old Paul Harker, both of the 100 block of Beachhurst Drive in North Cape May.
Authorities say a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTip revealed an unknown person possessed images of suspected child pornography on a home computer. An investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a home on Beachhurst Drive on January 30th. At the scene, several computers and hard copies of images were seized as evidence and authorities say several child porn images were also located at the time of the search.
Gaines was charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography. Harker was charged with Possession of Child Pornography. Both were released on a summons pending court proceedings.
