Thanks to a concerned citizen who reported a suspicious person, two people have been arrested and are now facing a list of charges in Brigantine.

Brigantine Police say in the early morning hours of Sunday, a concerned citizen reported a suspicious man near Surfside Road. Responding officers found the man who was inside of a vehicle with a woman. During the investigation, cops say they searched that vehicle and found marijuana, a 9mm handgun, and hollow point ammunition.

26-year-old Christian L. Rodriguez of Swedesboro has been charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun without a valid permit, possession of hollow point ammunition, and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

26-year-old Rovettzy M. Silva-Pagan of Kindred, FL, was charged with possession of a handgun without a valid permit, possession of hollow point ammunition, and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

Both were lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending hearings.
