Vineland Motorcyclist Killed in Saturday Morning Accident

A car - motorcycle accident just after 4am Saturday claimed the life of a 34-year old man.

Vineland Police say the accident happened on West Landis Avenue, near the Route 55 overpass.

Police say a motorcycle, driven by Eugene T. Kirby 3rd, 34 of Franklin, "was traveling westbound on West Landis Avenue as it lost control on the inside lane of travel by the curbed median." Police say Kirby was thrown off the bike and was struck by a vehicle driven by Debra Knowles, 38, of Vineland, who was also traveling westbound.
