Woman Biker Struck & Killed By NJT Bus in West Cape May

A woman biking in West Cape May Saturday afternoon was hit and killed by a New Jersey Transit bus, according to NJ.com.

The woman was biking around 5 p.m. on Broadway near York Street in West Cape May when an NJ Transit bus struck her, a spokesperson for the transportation authority said Sunday.

Two passengers and the bus operator were present at the time of the incident.

The woman’s identity has not been released, and Cape May police and Prosecutor’s Office are actively investigating the incident.
