Woman Sues Mays Landing Cell Store For Viewing Video on Her Phone
How would you feel if you took your phone in to the cell phone store for a possible trade-up, and employees watched your private video on your phone without your permission?
That's allegedly what happened when a woman took her phone into the T-Mobile store at Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing.
The website, ArsTechnica reports that two male employees discovered a private, naked video of the woman, and went ahead and played it.
According to the article, the woman was still wearing her AirPods in her ears when she heard the employees in another part of the store, playing the video.
The incident reportedly occurred in November, when the woman went to the store with a damaged phone.
According to the article, one of the employees still works at the store, while the other left for another job.
The woman is suing T-Mobile for sexual harassment, invasion of privacy, and more.
