Peter Como once sang, "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas," and it truly is. Now that Thanksgiving dinner has turned into leftover turkey soup, the lights are twinkling in the dark making the early sundown a little bit more bearable. During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it's nice to take some time for yourself and enjoy the season. It's always a good idea to unwind with a good stiff drink.
Philadelphia is home to some amazing Christmas themed bars that will have you singing, "Fa la la la la, la la la la la la." If you are headed into Philly for some Christmas fun this season, you might want to take a quick stop into one of these festive watering holes.

We wrote about Tinsel, the Christmas themed pop-up bar, back in November. As of the 27th of November, it had yet to be open. However, the popular Christmas wonderland is planning to open this week. They are famous for their snow globe drinks and over the top decorations. Tinsel is located at 116 S 12th Street.

12 Days of Christmas
12 Days of Christmas is Farmer's Keep's pop-up Christmas bar. The bar is open every weekend from November 29th to December 22nd and features delicious festive drinks like Santa's Sack, Mrs. Claus Fire Cider, Naughty and Nice Shots, and Red Wreath Punch. 12 Days of Christmas is located at 12 South 20th Street.

Bourbon Lounge
Every Saturday in December you can head to the Bourbon Lounge at The Shops at Liberty Place by Bluebird Distilling for Sips and Selfies with Santa. You can take a selfie with Santa, Elsa, or Buddy the Elf while enjoying Victorian Carolers, and get your face painted before heading into the lounge. The Bourbon Lounge is located at 1625 Chestnut Street.

Yule Lodge
The Yule Lodge is the Butcher Bar's enclosed back patio that has been converted into a cozy festive getaway. It gives you mega cozy winter cabin vibes. With fur covered stools and a fire place to keep you warm, this winter oasis keeps you toasty with festive drinks. Not only are the drinks festive, but some are even served in the moose mugs used in National Lampoon's: Christmas Vacation. The Yule Lodge is located at 2034 Chestnut Street.

Miracle
Located inside In The Valley, Miracle offers a long list of Christmas cocktails. Starting at the end of November and running through the holiday season ITV is decorated to the nines with paper chains, stockings, lights, and so much more. With drinks like Koala-La La La, La La La La, Run Run Rudolph, and Bad Santa, you're sure to feel extra festive. Miracle is located at 1615 East Passyunk Ave.

Christmas at Craft Hall
Christmas at Craft Hall has something for everyone, not just those over the legal drinking age. Craft Hall decorates for the most wonderful time of the year with lights, decorations, and of course a Christmas tree. Santa stops by every Sunday in December from 10-2 for "Selfies with Santa." Kids can make their own ornaments while the 21+ crowd sips on festive themed drinks. Christmas at Craft Hall is located at 901 N. Delaware Ave.

The Olde Bar
The Olde Bar, which resides in the former Old Original Bookbinders, uses it's historical building as the perfect backdrop for a Christmas escape. The cozy bar decorates in a classy fashion to match the old time feel of the bar. Guests can have brunch with Santa on December 8th. The Olde Bar is located at 125 Walnut Street.
