46 arrested in 16 days by police in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ

The second half of January was rather busy for police officers in Egg Harbor Township.

According to statistics posted on Facebook by the department on Wednesday, they answered 3,166 calls for service from January 16th through the 31st.

In addition to nearly four dozen people being arrested, there were 32 domestic violence calls, 659 traffic stops resulting in 245 tickets being issued, 67 accidents, one vehicle burglary and one residential burglary, and over 1,300 property checks.

Egg Harbor Township Police provided the following list of arrested persons. As always, they are all considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

• January 17th — Fritzbirt Octavius, Egg Harbor Township — arrested and charged with driving under the influence

• January 17th — Morcedes Cox, Ventnor — arrested for an outstanding warrant and also charged with shoplifting

• January 17th — Joel Bacon, Pleasantville — arrested and charged with criminal trespassing

• January 17th — Thomas Sear, Mays Landing — arrested and charged with driving under the influence

• January 18th — Daniel McConnell, Egg Harbor Township — arrested and charged with simple assault

• January 18th — William Birts, Mays Landing — arrested for an outstanding warrant

• January 19th — Christian Mezquita, Pleasantville — arrested for outstanding warrants

• January 19th — Eric Olsen, Egg Harbor Township — arrested and charged with driving under the influence

• January 19th — Alec Eaves, Egg Harbor Township — arrested for outstanding warrants

• January 20th — Elizabeth Chennells, Egg Harbor Township — arrested and charged with driving under the influence

• January 20th — Scott Norris, Egg Harbor Township — arrested and charged with violation of a restraining order as well as harassment

• January 20th — Jaclyn Cianci, Somers Point — arrested and charged with violation of a CDS-related offense

• January 21st — Michael Weeast, Egg Harbor Township — arrested for an outstanding warrant

• January 22nd — Kenton Holden-Morton, Egg Harbor Township — arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, enticing a child into a motor vehicle, cyber harassment

• January 22nd — Devyne Gandy, Somers Point — arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose

• January 23rd — Angel Escoto, Egg Harbor Township — arrested for an outstanding warrant

• January 23rd — Alim Walden, Hammonton — arrested and charged with robbery, simple assault, shoplifting

• January 23rd — John Lomonaco, Absecon — arrested and charged with attempted burglary, criminal mischief, possession of burglar tools, possession of CDS
