54-Year-Old Man Killed in Accident in Brigantine

Authorities are investigating a fatal accident that happened in Brigantine on Saturday.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says the accident happened on Brigantine Boulevard just after noon Saturday.

Hector Salgado, 54, of Lindenwald was loading a van on the street when the van was struck by a car driven by Joanna Huynh, 34, of Brigantine.

No other details of the accident have been provided. The accident remains under investigation.
