60-Year-Old Man Drowns in Cape May Court House Home Pool

Middle Township Police say a local man drowned in a pool at a residence on Stagecoach Road Wednesday.

Police say they received a call about a possible drowning at the home in Cape May Court House.

Officers and other emergency personnel responded to the home, just after 9pm and attempted to revive the man, identified as Harry R. Velli, 60, of Cape May Court House.

Velli was unable to be revived, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police continue to investigate.
