68-Year-Old EHT Man Charged With Stabbing

An Egg Harbor Township man is facing several charges after a stabbing in a local mobile home park Tuesday night.

Police say just after 7pm Tuesday, they responded to a call about a stabbing in a home in the Tilton Terrace Mobile Park on Tilton Road. When they arrived, police found Thomas O’Neill, 68, trying to leave the scene. He was arrested.

The stabbing victim,  Richard Gianetta, 37, of Galloway, suffered a stab wound to the left upper abdomen/rib area during a dispute with suspect. Gianetta was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus for treatment. No word is available on his condition.

O'Neil has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and driving while intoxicated. He is currently free, after posting bail.
