AC Firefighters Revive LEH Driver with Narcan After Car Crash
A Little Egg Harbor Township man became unconscious and crashed his car in Atlantic City. Police, Fire, and emergency personnel quickly determined he had been using heroin, and used Narcan to revive him at the accident scene.
Atlantic City Police say the crash occurred Tuesday night on Arctic Avenue where Daniel Cormier, 24, crashed his car into the back of another vehicle stopped at a traffic light.
Responding personnel found Cormier unconscious and administered Narcan. Once he became conscious, he was taken to the hospital. Neither person in the other car were hospitalized.
Police found several bags of heroin in Cormier's vehicle. He's been charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, DWI, and other associated motor vehicle summons.
The accident remains under investigation.
