AC Police Arrest 19-Year-Old Woman For 2 Hit and Runs in Atlantic City

Atlantic City Police ended up arresting a young woman after she jumped out of her car and hid behind a dumpster.

Police say Destinee Carpenter, 19, is responsible for striking two vehicles, including a police car, with her vehicle Wednesday afternoon. The 17-year-old driver of the other car had to be transferred to the hospital because of injuries.
