Armed Robber Gets Away With Cash From Rio Grande Store

The snow Thursday morning didn't stop a man from robbing a Rio Grande store at gunpoint.

Police in Middle Township say they received a 911 call from an employee of the Family Dollar store on Route 47 in Rio Grande. According to police, "The employee reported an individual, armed with a handgun, demanded money out of the store’s cash register.  The individual was provided an amount of money, then fled on foot in the direction of the Rio Grande Plaza."
