When you get arrested for doing something six times in six days, perhaps you're just not very good at that something.

Well, Jason Reiner, 43, of Atlantic City, this is your life.

Atlantic City Police say Reiner has been arrested for shoplifting in the city six times in the last six days - and, four of those arrests in two days.

Police say Reiner is a known shoplifter (maybe because he's not very good at it?). He also has lengthy criminal record.

Here's a play-by-play of Reiner's week, as told by Atlantic City Police:

At 5:00 pm, Jason Reiner, a known shoplifter with a lengthy criminal history, was spotted by Officer Richard Link running away from Tanger Outlets- The Walk on Arctic Avenue carrying a purse. Officer Link, believing Reiner had committed a theft, circled the block in an attempt to locate him. Officer Link was stopped by a concerned citizen who saw Reiner running with the purse and added that Reiner put on a jacket in an attempt to alter his appearance. Reiner was located at Georgia and Arctic Avenues and taken into custody. The purse was stolen from the Coach Outlet.

Due to Reiner’s recent string of arrests, Officer Link was granted permission to complete the necessary charges on a warrant thus remanding Reiner to the county jail.

This arrest was Reiner’s second of the day. He was arrested at 1:45 pm after he shoplifted sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, also at The Walk. Reiner was processed and released with a future court date.

Reiner was also arrested twice on March 13. At 12:20 am, he was arrested after being detained by Hard Rock Hotel and Casino security after he stole sweatshirts from a gift shop. He was arrested again at 5:00 pm after he stole a purse from the Michael Kors Outlet. He was also arrested in Atlantic City on March 10 after attempting to steal an I-Robot vacuum from Harrah’s Hotel and Casino, and on March 12 he was charged with shoplifting by the Hamilton Township Police Department.

We must tell you that all persons arrested are presumed innocent, until proven guilty in a court of law.
