Atlantic City Man Shot and Killed

A 32-year-old Atlantic City man died Thursday night of a gunshot wound, while being transported to the hospital.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says Atlantic City Police responded to a call at 8:47pm about a man suffering gunshot wounds. The man was identified as Jasper Bell.

Tyner says an autopsy determined the cause of death as homicide from a gunshot wound to the chest.

According to Tyner, "Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at 609-909-7666. Witnesses may also contact the Atlantic City Police Department Investigations Division at 609-347-5766."
