Atlantic City Man Tries to Use Big Rock To Rob Another Man

A local man was arrested after his own version of Rock and Roll: he tried to rob a man with a big rock.

Atlantic City Police say Antonio Colon, 64, tried to steal a man's money Wednesday evening by threatening the man with a large rock. When the victim refused to hand over money, Colon struck him in the head with the rock.

Still unable to get the man's money, Colon fled the scene. Police were able to get a description Colon and began a search. A witness told police that Colon had changed his shirt - and, they eventually found and arrested him.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Colon is being held in Atlantic County Jail, faces a number of charges.
