Absecon Police say a Pleasantville man broke into a shed at Holy Spirit High School and stole a couple of golf carts.

Police say a burglary call first came in from school personnel Tuesday afternoon. Damage had been done to the concession stand and two golf carts and battery chargers were missing.

Police say their investigation determined that one of the golf carts was already on sale on Craigslist. They made contact with the seller and agreed to meet to make the purchase. That's where they arrested Jahill L. Barley, 25 of Pleasantville, charging him with receiving stolen property.

According to police, they discovered the second cart had already been sold, and that were able to track that one down. Police say Barley was identified by the buyer as the seller of the cart.

More charges against Barley are possible. Police are continuing to investigate. They ask that if anyone has any information on the incident, they should contact police at 609-641-0667.
