Drunk teen speeds past cops, crashes into business in Brigantine, arrested in Atlantic City, NJ: Police
Two teenagers are facing charges, including one for DWI, after allegedly fleeing from police and crashing into a business in Brigantine.

Police said the incident began around 2:30 early Tuesday morning, April 2nd, when a Brigantine police officer observed a pickup truck pass him at a high rate of speed on Lafayette Blvd.
According to authorities, the truck traveled through multiple stop signs and continued speeding in a reckless manner.
As officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled, but then veered off the road, and crashed into a business at 12th Street South and West Brigantine Avenue.
From there, the truck then continued to flee and police terminated their pursuit for public safety reasons.
As an officer crossed the Route 83 bridge looking for additional damage, he turned onto Harrah's Blvd. to make a U-turn, and noticed the vehicle in the parking lot at Harrah's Casino with significant damage.
Two subjects were standing outside of the vehicle and jumped into the rear seat when they saw Officer Crosson’s police vehicle. Both subjects were apprehended without incident and the vehicle was impounded.
2 Teens Charged
A 17-year-old from Hammonton was charged with DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, eluding police, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and 9 other traffic summonses.
The passenger, also a teenager, was charged with curfew violation and issued a traffic summons for failing to wear a seatbelt.
Both were released to parents with summonses to appear in court.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
