EHT Woman on Bicycle Injured By Hit and Run Driver
Police in Egg Harbor Township say a 43-year-old EHT woman was riding a bicycle on Ocean Heights Drive, near Swift Drive, when she was struck by a car.
Police say Lynne Devivo was struck Wednesday afternoon about 5:45pm by a car, described as a "2006-2009 Mercedes-Benz ML model, gold/pewter in color." The car fled the scene and had passenger-side damage. A side view mirror was found at the scene.
Devivo was transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center-Mainland Campus, with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are asking for help in their investigation. If you "witnessed the crash, or was in the area and observed a Mercedes SUV being operated in an unsafe manner is asked to contact the Traffic Safety Unit at 609-926-2661."
