The first announced concert for 2017 is..... Eric Church!

Church will bring his "Holdin' My Own Tour" to Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center January 25th.

One of the unique aspects of Church's tour is there will be no opening acts. It will just be Eric Church and his band. They will play a set, take an intermission break, then return for another full set.

On his website, Church announces how tickets will be sold for his shows:

In an effort to ensure Church Choir members get the best seats at face value, we have developed a new system that will allow us to remove scalpers from the pre-sale process before it even happens. Furthermore, we have secured a larger allotment of fan club tickets than in the past so Church Choir members will have much better success buying tickets in the presale. This will be the ONLY pre-sale. There will be no venue, credit card, or radio pre-sales.

As on past tours, we will continue to cancel any and all orders made by scalpers. Eric cautions fans to stay away from the secondary market because it’s likely that tickets found there will be invalid by the time the show happens.

Why are we doing this? In this era where complacency seems to be the norm, we wanted to do everything within our power to put the advantage in the hands of true fans rather than those that take advantage of the system, and by extension our people.
